Your first visit to Heit Rehabilitation & Optimal Health Center will give you an opportunity to find out if chiropractic care can help you. The doctors will do a thorough case history and examination to make sure that your condition can be helped through the natural healing of chiropractic adjustments. As doctors of chiropractic medicine, they believe in natural healing. As such, they also use methods of rehabilitation, therapy, acupuncture and nutrition counseling in the clinic. On your initial visit, the doctors will provide a no-charge consultation. This will allow you to meet the doctors and the staff with no commitments attached. If the doctors feel that you could benefit from chiropractic care, they will do a complete health history, examination and x-rays (if needed). The doctors will review your findings in great detail and on the following day present to you your schedule of care and what they found. The doctors will begin your adjustments on that day and any therapy treatments that your condition would necessitate.

This interference can cause pressure or irritation on the spinal cord and/or on the nerve roots as they pass out of the spinal column.
